About me

I’m Denise Claire Gadient, a skin care expert and owner of THE FACE in Zurich’s first district.

I’ve been trained as a cosmetician (EFZ) and make-up artist, studied to become a DERMALOGICA skin therapist over 22 years ago, and in 2014 trained as a DERMALOGICA EXPERT.

I specialise in professional skin and facial care, make-up and consultation.

I also completed a language course at the International House in London to cater to my English-speaking clientele.

In 2018, I won the DERMALOGICA AWARD for skin therapist of the year in the category of brand commitment.

Before that, I was nominated twice and was runner-up.

I’ve been self-employed for 30 years now and use my empathy, engagement and invaluable experience to ensure that every treatment is an effective beauty experience – keeping in line with the motto: healthier – younger – fresher.

I’m a Grisonian and grew up in Vaduz in the Principality of Liechtenstein.

I inherited my love of “Cosmea” – maintaining order, harmony and beauty – from my mother.

She was a hairdresser.

The catalyst for my education arose from a gift from my parents: a beauty and skin care book.

After that, it was clear to me what career path I wanted to pursue.

My personal experiences with acne problems as a teenager, and later also with allergies, persuaded and repeatedly confirmed to me to use only professional and effective personal care products (cosmeceuticals). I also place great importance on personal and individually tailored at-home care.

Even today, I regularly attend further education courses, especially as a Dermalogica expert.

On top of my cosmetic-medical training, I’ve also undergone spiritual training:

Quantum Angel Healing® (QAH) training in 2014, including coaching, participation in CRC (Cosmic Recoding®) and CRC Ultra.

I also completed the 3M-MediumTM (Modern-Mora-Medium for Mediumship and Healing) online training and can now fully use my mediumship abilities.
